EU to Extend Syria Sanctions for 3 Months - Corruption Currents - WSJ

The European Union agreed Wednesday to extend its sanctions against President Bashar al-Assad’s regime for another three months, EU diplomats told AFP.

AFP reported the decision will be formally adopted Thursday when ministers gather for talks.

“There was an agreement to extend the sanctions by three months as the measures were only valid until Friday, November 30,” an EU source was quoted by AFP as saying while speaking on condition of anonymity.
